Here we are at the beginning of another new year. Every year at this time we tend to take stock of ourselves and our lives and made all kinds of resolutions for change. The truth is that the more things change, the more they stay the same.

Here at Five Star we have had such a great 2011 that all we have to resolve to do more of the same. Our charitable giving has been generous and rewarding. We have been able to reach out to single parents in need and make their lives and their families lives a little bit better. They have been very grateful to find out that there are strangers who are aware of their needs and willing to do something about it.

As the new president of Five Star I hope you will continue to support our community outreach projects. Volunteers are always needed for charity poker events and for Adopt a Highway which gives us recognition in the community.

Through the efforts of Jim Blundo and Terry Mike we have gained stature with the movers and shakers in Rochester area non-profits and political entities. These were the goals that brought about the formation on Five Star in place of our former affiliation which would not allow such interaction. Our goal as your Board of Directors is to continue to grow and give. Your ideas and participation are welcome.
